During the past 3 years Live Art has held numerous shows around
Naples, each show having its own theme, music and location.
Marie James, Monika Bokelmann, and Peter Gottschalk comprise
the core group of artists, who organize & promote the events.
At each event, the crowd is drawn into action and loses it’s inhibition
to participate. It produces some very unique pieces of art and the
festive atmosphere creates a special bond between the artist, the
crowd and art collectors. The music has an influence on our style of
painting, color choice and movement and the painting being
produced has an effect on the musicians and crowd.
Recently, we have incorporated LiveArt 4 Kids into our shows with a
tremendous response. LiveArt 4 Kids is an evolving program that
gives kids and adults the opportunity to create their own
masterpieces on canvas, to take home. Kids love it!
Every show has evolved into a larger event than any of us expected
and we eagerly welcome all volunteer participation and thank all
those who continue to support us. We are always pursuing new
venues and your participation and ideas are welcome.
LiveArt has shirts, baseball caps, and coffee mugs for sale. As well
as each artist's work. LiveArt is available to do private parties,
fundraisers, festivals, gallery and business openings, large and
small events, too. Invite us to inspire your guests!!!

The goal of LiveArt is to bring people of all ages together by
promoting and fostering the development of art and music in our
community. This interaction is accomplished by working in unison
on one or more "communal canvases". By inviting the crowd to join
us in painting, we are able to incorporate the creativity of everyone
from children to well-established artists.
